Its been a while since adidas Consortium – adidas team working on collaborations with the top tier retailers and designers – revealed something as interesting as these two releases. Let’s start with the more winter-ready of them. Minimalistic and futuristic at the same time, outdoor silhouette Terrex Free Hiker rocks icy white color palette with bespoke details and unique lace system. Upscale materials are used all over the construction, with all Boost midsole – the comfiest material know to mankind (as far as we are aware) – wrapped in the aggressive all-terrain outsole. You can find them available now at select retailers for a price of $220 USD.
The second project is the result of the work of the three-stripe team and one of the most innovative UK designer Craig Green. The most distinct feature is Jelly like molds covering the uppers of controversial adidas Kamanda. The model was first teased at London Fashion Week in 2019 and we are finally getting a release date of six distinctive colorways referencing OG color schemes. It is set to drop on February 28th exclusively at Dover Street Market first, and then within the wider network of top tier adidas accounts.
